Comparison
Rostavo vs AxisCare
Both run home care agencies. They are built for opposite ends of the market, and the honest answer is that one of us is wrong for you.
AxisCare is one of the most established home care platforms in the US and it is good at what it is for: Medicaid and VA billing, electronic visit verification, medication reminders, hospitalization tracking, and the reporting a multi-site agency needs. It prices by the size of your agency and the number of clients you serve, in bands that start at up to 15 clients and run past 1,000, and it does not publish a price sheet. If you bill funders, most of this comparison will point you at them.

The honest answer
If your agency bills Medicaid, the VA or long-term care insurance, or you need EVV in a state that mandates it, use AxisCare and do not let a published price talk you out of it. That world is regulated, the compliance surface is enormous, and we have deliberately stayed out of it. If you are a private-pay agency with one to fifteen people in the office, AxisCare is a larger and more expensive machine than the job needs, priced by a number of clients you have to disclose before you learn the cost. That is the agency Rostavo is for.
Rostavo vs AxisCare. Questions
Does Rostavo do EVV?
No. There is GPS check-in and check-out, which proves a carer was on site, but that is not electronic visit verification: EVV means submitting visit data to a state aggregator in a prescribed format, and we do not do it. If a funder requires EVV from you, we are the wrong software and AxisCare is a reasonable answer.
What does AxisCare cost?
They do not publish it. Pricing is by agency size and client count, in bands, and you get a figure after a demo. Third-party directories have listed a starting price around $325 a month, but those entries are old and inconsistent, so treat them as a shape rather than a quote.
Can I move from AxisCare to Rostavo?
Your clients, carers and rates, yes. Your funder-billing history, no, because we have nowhere to put it. If funder billing is part of your business, moving is the wrong idea rather than a hard one.
