Built around how pet care services actually run

The parts that matter most when this is the work you do every day.

Everything about every pet

Store pet profiles, vet contacts, medications and feeding notes so any carer can step in confidently.

Fill visits in minutes

Broadcast a walk or visit to available carers and the first to accept claims it. Perfect for last-minute requests.

Proof of every visit

GPS check-in shows owners their pet was visited on time, at the right place.

Owners stay in the loop

A client portal lets owners request visits, pay online and review their carer.

Plus everything else the agency runs on

Every agency gets the whole system. Switch off the parts you don't use. There is no cheaper plan missing the thing you need.

Everyone sees just their bit

One set of records, three ways in. Nobody has to be taught which bits to ignore.

You

The whole agency. Every booking, everyone on your books, the money in and out.

Carers

Their own shifts only. Accept work, check in, upload a certificate.

Pet owners

Their own account only. Request, see who is coming, pay, review.

What pet care owners are really buying

Not scheduling. Reassurance, delivered on time, to somebody who is at work and worried.

Mon 12:40

An owner messages: did the walk happen?

You do not know yet. You ask the walker, wait, and then relay it. That is three messages to answer one question.

Tue 08:00

A last-minute visit comes in for today

Somebody is probably free. Finding out which one takes twenty minutes of messaging.

Thu 15:00

A new sitter covers a dog she has not met

The medication, the harness, the fact he bolts at the gate. All of it is in your head or in an old text.

How a visit runs, from request to reassurance

  1. 01

    Every pet has a profile

Vet, medication, feeding, behaviour, where the lead lives. Cover stops being risky because the knowledge is on the animal, not in a person.

  2. 02

Owners request through their own portal

Requests arrive structured instead of as a text message at 22:00 that you have to remember in the morning.

  3. 03

    Regular walks repeat automatically

Set the pattern once. Every walk after that is on the calendar.

  4. 04

Extra visits go to whoever is free

A same-day request is offered to every sitter nearby who is available, and the first to accept takes it.

  5. 05

Check-in tells the owner it happened

A geofenced check-in at the door answers the "did the walk happen" question before the owner has to ask it.

What to look for in pet sitting software

The pet care category publishes its prices, which makes it easier to compare than most. Use that.

Does it hold real pet detail?

Medication, vet contact and behaviour notes are the difference between a sitter who can cover and one who cannot. A generic client-notes field is not the same thing.

Ask them: Can I store per-pet medical and behavioural detail, and does a covering sitter see it?

Can owners see that a visit happened?

This is the whole product from the owner side. Everything else is your convenience; this is their peace of mind.

Ask them: Does the owner get confirmation of the visit without me sending it?

What happens at five staff, and at fifteen?

This category tiers by staff count and the steps can be steep. Know where the next one is before you hire into it.

Ask them: Show me the price at my current size and at double it.

Does it take payment?

Chasing small, frequent invoices is a disproportionate amount of admin for the money involved.

Ask them: Can owners pay online, and does it chase the ones who have not?

Will it still fit if you add house-sitting or boarding?

Pet businesses broaden. A tool that only does walks becomes a constraint rather than a system.

Ask them: Can it handle overnight and multi-day bookings as well as visits?

Pet care services. Questions answered

Can I store vet and medication details?

Yes. Every pet profile holds vet contacts, medication schedules and care notes.

Can owners book and pay online?

Owners request visits and pay invoices through their own portal.

Can I prove a visit happened?

GPS check-in / out records the time and location of each visit.

Does it handle recurring dog walks?

Yes. Set a recurring schedule and every walk is generated automatically.

Missing something you need?

Every agency runs a little differently. If something here doesn't fit how you work, or there's a piece missing altogether, tell us. We build custom versions of Rostavo for individual agencies.

That might be a form that matches your paperwork, a rate rule nobody else uses, a report your accountant asks for, or a whole part of the job we haven't covered. Worth a conversation either way.

Tell us what you need

We read every one of these ourselves.
